Course Introduction:
In condensed matter physics and particle physics there are many common, profound themes, which can be unified and systematically described in the language of quantum field theory, in particular its non-perturbative aspects. In this course, we will give intuitive but rigorous treatments to these important, non-perturbative subjects in condensed matter and particle physics, mostly using the analytical methods developed on lattice. We will also make connections to research problems at the frontier.
