Profile
Dr. Sisi Duan is a researcher at the Institute for Advanced Study, Tsinghua University. She is also a member of Beijing National Research Center for Information Science and Technology. She received her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Davis in 2014, advised by Prof. Karl Levitt and Sean Peisert. She got her bachelor degree in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Hong Kong in 2010. Prior to joining Tsinghua University, she was an Assistant Professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County from 2017 to 2020 and a Weinberg Fellow at Oak Ridge National Laboratory from 2015 to 2017. Dr. Duan's research interests include security, blockchain, distributed systems, and applied cryptography.
