Wei-Qiang Zhang received the B.S. degree in applied physics from China University of Petroleum in 2002, the M.S. degree in communication and information systems from Beijing Institute of Technology in 2005, and the Ph.D degree in information and communication engineering from Tsinghua University in 2009. From 2016 to 2017, he was a visiting scholar with Stanford University.
He is currently an Associate Professor with the Department of Electronic Engineering, Tsinghua University and the head of the Speech and Audio Technology Laboratory (SATLab). His research interests are in the area of speech and audio recognition and analysis, signal and information processing, and machine learning.
